I live in a small town in Sweden. Just in case you as a reader is not one of the 9 million people that live here you should know that in the Swedish culture coffee is very important!! There are an endless number of cafes here. The problem with a cafe is that after about six o clock in the evening there is little or no business to be had.
What if you or preferably me went to one of theese cafe's and made a little deal. The deal being that if on Wednesday (mini friday) Friday and Saturday we turn the cafe into a wine bar. You know a place where you ladies can get together and have your little party before your big night out with the girls. Sort of like a meeting place for you and your girlfriends with plenty of candles and flowers and good smelling things. Plenty of pillows and cozy little blankets in case you would catch a little chill. What do you think sounds good huh? If you're lucky if the place is big enough you could even split the place in two and have a whiskey bar on the other side. You know whiskey cigars big screen tv's and unlimited sports channels. The guys would love it!!!

Good idea! This is something I have thought of too (but not i K-holm) and I think it would work, but maybe in the combination café/Wine bar. There is almost never a nice place to just sneak in to (and have a big hot chocolate with wipped cream...or a beer) after a movie or a walk. I´d LOVE the whiskey but not the cigars. Why split it up and are you sure men and women want so different things? ;)
ReplyDeleteno i'm not actually sure of that, but its definately an idea. where are you from?? Where do you think this idea would work??
ReplyDeleteWell, I think it would work anywhere if there is enough people to visit the place...and with the right profile. I think many people would like a place to go to just to relax with friends for a while in the evening... Maybe you should try to investigate what people in your surroundings want. Just ask people you meet! ;)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the advice!!
